As the information gatherers, Scouts play one of the most important roles in a unit. In this Information Age, a battle is won or lost based on the intelligence one has gathered, not on the amount of weapons one has. A Scout’s role is to find out as much information as possible so that the unit can make targeted moves, minimizing risk and damage on both sides.

Scouts make excellent researchers, reporters, detectives, and even spies. If you are a Scout, your mission is to gain as much knowledge as possible about the world you live in. Your challenge is to apply those same skills of observation to yourself and look deeply within to identify your fears. Only by fully recognizing your fears every moment they come up can you move beyond them and no longer let them run your life.
